Your Appointment, Your Smile: Let’s Make It Count!
Appointment Policies At Whitehorse Smile Care
At Whitehorse Smile Care, our priority is to deliver quality dental care to all our patients promptly. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you, allowing us to prepare fully sterilised equipment and materials for your procedure. To maintain our high standards and ensure smooth appointments, we have implemented an Appointment Policy and a Deposit Policy for certain services.

Please kindly take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies. Thank you.

Appointment Policy
Appointment Confirmation
A confirmation message is sent 2 weeks prior to most appointment dates, provided the appointment was booked at least two weeks in advance. Another confirmation message is sent 2 days prior to your appointment. Please ensure you reply to confirm your attendance. If we do not receive confirmation of your attendance 24 hours before your appointment, your appointment may be automatically cancelled.

Appointment Cancellation and Late Arrivals
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Missed appointments and late cancellations without appropriate reason will incur a fee. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, it may be cancelled to prevent inconveniencing other patients, and we will kindly ask you to reschedule.
Late Cancellations and No-Shows
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling or fails to attend after having confirmed. In these cases, the patient may incur a fee.
Deposit Policy
At Whitehorse Smile Care, requiring a deposit benefits both our patients and our dental team. It fosters commitment to scheduled appointments, helping us manage our daily schedule efficiently and ensuring each patient receives the time and attention they need without feeling rushed. Unfortunately, missed appointments can disrupt our workflow and impact the quality of care we provide. The deposit acts as a safeguard for the dentist's working time and reinforces the importance of respecting appointment times.

We only require deposits for appointments lasting longer than 60 minutes, such as tooth extractions and periodontal deep cleanings. This allows us to guarantee that our schedule remains productive and that valuable time is not set aside unnecessarily.

Convenient Communication
For your convenience, we have a phone answering service outside of our clinic opening hours. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
